Hi Logan I'm Audrey. I'm 3 1/2. I had two speckled Sussex chickens Fifi and Fufu. Fifi died and I want to get another Sussex for fufu. Do you have any for sale? Fufu is 7 weeks old.

Hi Logan . Just started researching back yard chickens and found your hatchery/blog. One of my concerns is my neighbors have chickens and they are very unsanitary ( whole back yard is covered deep in poop ). There is a solid wood fence between our properties . Do I have to be concerned with their chickens infecting mine with any type of airborn diseases barring physical contact ? Thanks , Craig Russell

Hello Craig,
It is possible that your neighbor's chickens can spread airborne diseases to your flock, this is how avian flu has spread into the commercial factory farms. However, if your chickens are raised in a happy and healthy environment they should be a lot more resistant to diseases; kinda like you if you are healthy you can fight off colds and bugs much easier than when you are stressed out.
